The Opportunity
We're hiring a Marketing Operations Lead (Email/Promo QA) to own quality across CRM execution for a leading on-demand consumer marketplace that reaches millions of customers through email, push, in-app, and promo channels every week. You'll lead a team of GAs through daily QA reviews of high-volume campaigns, partner with cross-functional marketing teams on launches, and build the operating cadence — stand-ups, audits, training, and SLA tracking — that keeps quality high as throughput scales. Expect to host daily stand-ups, triage errors and expedited requests across channels, audit team output, track recurring QA misses, and develop training material that levels up new operators — all while staying close enough to the work to flag SLA violations and provide strategic guidance on campaign reviews.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Team Leadership: Host daily stand-ups to manage workload, reassign tickets as needed, and keep your team of GAs aligned on priorities and SLAs.

CRM Campaign Execution & QA: Oversee the prep and launch of CRM tactics — promotions, in-app banners, emails, and customer lists — and provide internal QA on the team's review of email templates, popups, campaigns, flows, and SMS for branding, copy, target audience, and technical setup.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams on the execution of marketing campaigns, and respond promptly to operators across Slack, email, and JIRA tickets.

Error Triage & Expedited Requests: Manage urgent issues and triage errors across email, push, in-app, and promo channels so nothing slips through to the customer.

Audits & Quality Reporting: Random-audit QA cases to validate quality, consolidate and track recurring misses, flag SLA violations to the lead, and report on self-serve processes monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Strategic Campaign Reviews: Review campaigns from a strategic perspective and provide guidance to operators on what to refine before launch.

Training & Documentation: Partner with the manager to build and improve training material for new operators, and support the team in maintaining campaign documentation — tickets, campaign overviews, internal calendars, and status docs for cross-functional reference.
What You Bring

CRM & ESP Experience: 3+ years in QA-specific work for CRM platforms (Braze preferred) and 3+ years with an ESP platform.

Leadership Track Record: 2+ years in a leadership role with a clear ability to hit KPIs while fostering a motivating work environment.

Technical Skills: Intermediate HTML and SQL, intermediate proficiency with Google Sheets, and working knowledge of JIRA, Slack, G-Suite, and CRM systems across email, push, in-app, and promo codes.

Campaign & Budget Management: Experience reviewing, updating, and scheduling digital campaigns spanning copy, code, and creative review, plus managing promo budgets against business goals.

Attention to Detail: Exceptionally high attention to detail with a habit of double-checking, testing, and following guidelines closely — you're obsessed with making sure everything works properly.

Clear Communication: Highly proficient in spoken and written English, with the ability to give crystal-clear direction to teammates verbally and in writing, and to meet deadlines with fast response times.
