The Opportunity
We're hiring an Accounting Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a high-growth automotive SaaS platform serving dealerships across North America — managing the full accounts payable cycle, processing incoming payments, reconciling AR ledgers, and keeping bookkeeping clean and current in Zoho and Excel. You'll partner closely with departments across the business to resolve queries quickly, code invoices to the right GL accounts, and grow into discrepancy resolution as you learn the books.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Full-Cycle AP Management: Manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring every invoice is recorded, classified, computed, posted, and tracked through to payment.

Payment Processing: Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures, and post them accurately to the correct accounts.

Daily Financial Transactions: Perform day-to-day verification, classification, computing, posting, and recording of accounts payable data with precision and consistency.

AR Reconciliation: Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted, identifying and resolving discrepancies as they surface.

GL Coding & Bookkeeping: Code invoices with appropriate GL codes and maintain clean bookkeeping by reconciling and consolidating entries across reports into Zoho or Excel, following client-provided guidance.

Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with all departments to resolve issues, queries, and billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
What You Bring

Zoho or Equivalent Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Zoho or a similar accounting tool — comfortable navigating the system, recording transactions, and maintaining accuracy across the ledger.

Advanced Excel: Strong working knowledge of v-lookups, pivot tables, and core formulas for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.

G Suite Basics: Comfortable working in Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive for shared documentation and collaboration.

U.S. Hours Availability: Able to work U.S. business hours, with East Coast timezone preferred.
