The Opportunity

We're hiring a Collections Specialist to join a B2B SaaS platform serving a growing customer base — someone who is equally comfortable making proactive outreach calls and handling sensitive conversations with delinquent accounts. In this role, you'll own the full collections cycle: researching accounts before contact, advising clients on payment schedules, maintaining meticulous records, and keeping internal stakeholders informed on case status — all while representing the business with professionalism and clear, confident communication.


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Proactive Outreach: Conduct 25–50 outbound calls per day to clients with upcoming or pending bill due dates to ensure timely payment
  • Collections Follow-Up: Manage 25–50 reactive calls per day to clients with delinquent accounts, navigating sensitive conversations with professionalism and urgency
  • Account Research: Review and analyze account status and history prior to initiating client contact to ensure every conversation is informed and efficient
  • Record Keeping: Maintain complete, detailed account records including thorough notes on all collection efforts and client interactions
  • Payment Guidance: Advise clients on appropriate payment schedules in accordance with company policy, clearly communicating next steps and expectations
  • Stakeholder Communication: Keep the internal team updated on case status and escalate where needed to ensure nothing falls through the cracks


What You Bring

  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills — you can handle high-volume phone outreach and professional email correspondence with equal confidence
  • Collections or AR Experience: Prior experience in a collections, accounts receivable, or high-volume outbound calling role
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational habits and a disciplined approach to maintaining accurate, up-to-date account records
  • Professional Composure: Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and effective when handling difficult or sensitive client conversations


Bonus Points if:

  • You have experience with Zendesk or a similar customer support or ticketing platform
  • You have worked with SaaSOptics, Salesforce, or similar CRM or subscription billing tools

  • Step 6 Client Interview: You'll meet the client to discuss how you'll help them scale and succeed. Bring your metrics and be on your A-game — this is your last chance to make a great first impression!
