The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber Design Assistant (Video + Static) with a mastery of cinematic storytelling to elevate our digital presence. This is not a traditional performance-marketing role focused solely on "buy now" buttons; it is a creative-first position for a storyteller who understands visual mood, emotional resonance, and narrative arc. You will be responsible for crafting premium, immersive short-form video and static content that feels more like a film than an advertisement. If you have an elite eye for pacing, sound design, and visual rhythm, we want you to help us tell our brand story.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Cinematic Video Production: Edit approximately 20 story-driven videos per week (15s–60s), focusing on emotional sequencing, narrative flow, and high-end visual aesthetics.

Static Storytelling: Design approximately 40 static assets per week that align with cinematic campaign themes for email, landing pages, and social channels.

Narrative Editing: Transform raw footage and mood boards into polished deliverables by incorporating sophisticated transitions, motion graphics, and sound design.

Creative Collaboration: Translate concepts from weekly "Content Sprints" into visual realities, collaborating closely with the creative leadership team.

Brand Stewardship: Maintain a premium, consistent visual identity across all platforms, ensuring every asset feels like part of a cohesive brand universe.

Asset Iteration: Recut, crop, and optimize existing footage for organic and paid social, ensuring a "social-first" but "brand-forward" approach.

Innovation: Explore and integrate AI-assisted video creation tools to enhance production volume while maintaining an elite creative standard.
What You Bring

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on video editing and graphic design experience, specifically within a cinematic or brand-forward context.

Adobe Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.

Storytelling Instincts: A deep understanding of visual storytelling, including pacing, rhythm, and how to evoke emotion through music sync and scene transitions.

Aesthetic Excellence: A portfolio that reflects a premium, "lifestyle" brand feel—you prioritize story and mood over loud, direct-response tactics.

Operational Agility: The ability to move quickly from a Monday sprint call to high-volume independent execution without a drop in quality.

Communication: Strong written and verbal English; comfortable collaborating with a high-performing remote team.

Availability: Ability to work dedicated U.S. Eastern Time (EST) hours.
Bonus Points if:
- You have experience in D2C lifestyle or luxury creative.
- You are a pro at sourcing and integrating stock footage and B-roll to support a narrative.
- You have advanced motion graphics or light animation skills.
- You are highly proficient in Air (video drive) and Google Slides (project management).
