The Opportunity

We’re hiring an Ad Operations Specialist to join a high-volume performance marketing agency managing concurrent paid media campaigns across display and social platforms for brand and agency partners — owning campaign implementation end-to-end from launch through optimization, reporting, and client communication. You’ll coordinate across internal ad ops leads and external vendor and network partners, track and optimize performance against client KPIs, and serve as a trusted point of contact for clients whose campaign objectives depend on your execution; this role calls for someone who is technically fluent across ad serving platforms, stays current on emerging social advertising surfaces, and thrives in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment.


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Campaign Implementation & Execution: Oversee and execute multiple concurrent ad campaigns across display and paid social from start to finish — ensuring timely, accurate delivery in accordance with contracts, insertion orders, media plans, and client KPIs.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Monitor and optimize campaign performance over time — providing performance and trend data that shapes ongoing strategy and informs future campaign planning.
  • Client Reporting & Communication: Manage weekly and monthly client reporting; own client-facing communication and relationship building for brand and agency partners, ensuring campaign objectives are met and clients feel consistently supported.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination: Coordinate with the internal ad ops lead and outsourced vendor and network partners — handling the administrative and technical tasks associated with campaign launches across platforms.
  • Strategy & Tool Research: Research, pitch, and help implement strategies and tools to improve ad serving, reporting, creative management, audience growth, and key campaign performance metrics including viewability, fraud prevention, and conversion.
  • Platform Pulse & Ad Hoc Support: Stay current on emerging and evolving social advertising platforms; contribute to ad hoc projects related to digital media, ad ops, and advertising technologies, and provide flexible off-hours support to the core team as needed.


What You Bring

  • Ad Operations Experience: 4+ years of experience in advertising operations at an agency or publisher, including 1–2+ years of paid social experience either as a dedicated role or as a meaningful component of a broader ad ops function.
  • Technical Platform Fluency: Required proficiency in Google Ad Manager, third-party tracking tags and pixels, and reporting platforms — paired with hands-on paid advertising experience across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Strong analytical ability to interpret campaign performance data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable optimization recommendations and client-ready reporting.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Demonstrated comfort owning client communication and relationship management — with strong written and verbal communication skills and a track record of delivering outstanding service to brand and agency partners.
  • Operational Agility: Well-suited to work in a nimble, highly matrixed environment — comfortable juggling multiple concurrent campaigns, shifting priorities, and cross-functional coordination without losing execution quality.

  • You have experience with platforms such as Funnel, Asana, Google Workspace, Dropbox, or Slack.
