The Opportunity

Level up your HR career as an HR Generalist with GrowthAssistant’s People Services Team! We’re looking for a proactive, highly organized, and people-first professional who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment and enjoys creating a strong employee experience behind the scenes. This role is a key part of our People Services function, with a strong focus on HR operations, payroll support, compensation & benefits administration, employee support, and engagement initiatives. You’ll help keep internal processes running smoothly while supporting our growing distributed workforce.

  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM US Central Time (Night Shift in Philippines Time)


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Employee Support & HR Helpdesk – Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and requests related to attendance, PTO, leave, timesheets, COEs, and other HR matters, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
  • Payroll & Timekeeping Coordination – Review, organize, and validate attendance records, overtime, adjustments, and time-tracking data to support accurate payroll processing.
  • Benefits Administration – Manage employee benefits processes, including healthcare enrollments, attendance incentives, welcome kits, and related documentation.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Support – Coordinate onboarding, orientation, employee transitions, and exit processes to create a smooth employee lifecycle experience.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement – Conduct check-ins, gather employee feedback, support coaching or compliance conversations, and help drive engagement and retention initiatives.
  • HR Records & Data Management – Maintain confidential employee records, HR trackers, reports, and documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and organization.
  • Culture & Team Initiatives – Help coordinate company events, internal communications, and activities that strengthen culture and collaboration across remote teams.
  • Process Improvement & Special Projects – Support People Services initiatives, ad hoc requests, and workflow improvements that enhance operational efficiency.


What You Bring

  • HR Operations Experience – 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related function with exposure to payroll, benefits, employee support, or HR administration.
  • People-First Communication – Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to build trust, handle concerns professionally, and create a positive employee experience.
  • Organization & Multitasking – Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay detail-oriented, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidentiality & Professional Judgment – High level of discretion when handling sensitive employee information, documentation, and workplace matters.
  • Remote Work Readiness – Experience working successfully in a remote or distributed setup with strong accountability and self-management skills.
  • Technical Proficiency – Comfortable using Google Workspace, especially Sheets and Docs, with the ability to manage data, trackers, and spreadsheets efficiently.
  • Adaptability & Ownership – Reliable, proactive, and flexible mindset with the ability to solve problems independently and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
  • Schedule Alignment – Willingness and ability to work night shift hours supporting a US-based or global workforce.


Bonus Points If

  • You have experience supporting HR in a staffing, outsourcing, talent solutions, or BPO company
  • You’ve worked in a startup or high-growth environment
  • You have hands-on experience using Hubstaff, HubSpot, Notion, or Airtable
  • You enjoy improving systems, workflows, and employee experience processes
  • You have exposure to HR reporting, analytics, or workforce insights 


Salary Range: $ 4.50 - $ 5.50 per hour (Final offer based on skills and experience matched to role requirements)
