The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Klaviyo Specialist to lead email and lifecycle marketing execution for a fast-moving eCommerce agency environment. This is a hands-on role for a technical executor who can move seamlessly between building complex automated flows and handling the HTML/CSS nuances of email development. You will support a portfolio of 2–5 clients, ensuring their retention programs are scalable, organized, and performance-oriented. If you are a proactive problem-solver who understands how email fits into the broader customer journey, you’ll thrive in our high-growth environment.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Campaign Management: Build, schedule, QA, and deploy email and SMS campaigns across promotional and retention calendars.

Flow Automation: Create and maintain high-converting automated flows, including Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, Winback, and Replenishment.

Technical Production: Develop and edit email templates using Klaviyo’s drag-and-drop builder as well as custom HTML/CSS for dynamic blocks and personalization logic.

Segmentation & Targeting: Set up and maintain complex audience segments, lists, and suppression logic to ensure high deliverability and relevance.

Testing & Optimization: Execute rigorous A/B tests on subject lines, send times, and flow logic to improve key metrics.

Quality Assurance: Rigorously QA every send for mobile responsiveness, tracking accuracy, and device-rendering consistency.

Account Hygiene: Maintain impeccable organization within Klaviyo accounts, including naming conventions and documentation.

Collaboration: Partner with account managers, strategists, and designers to move campaigns from brief to launch flawlessly.
What You Bring

Klaviyo Expertise: 2–4+ years of hands-on experience specifically within the Klaviyo platform.

E-commerce Native: Deep experience with the Shopify + Klaviyo ecosystem and common retention marketing workflows.

Technical Skills: Strong HTML/CSS skills for email development and troubleshooting.

Lifecycle Mastery: A thorough understanding of segmentation, deliverability best practices, and the customer journey.

Agency Ready: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliverables simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy.

Detail-Oriented: A "measure twice, cut once" mentality when it comes to UTMs, click tracking, and personalization logic.

Communication: Excellent written English and the ability to follow complex brand guidelines closely.
Bonus Points if:
- You have previous experience working in a retention or email marketing agency.
- You are familiar with Figma and creative handoff workflows.
- You have experience with Shopify theme edits or basic familiarity with Liquid.
- You have exposure to the broader e-com tech stack (Recharge, Gorgias, Okendo, Attentive, etc.).
- You have a deep understanding of retention KPIs like Revenue Per Recipient and Flow Contribution.
