The Opportunity
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about navigating the healthcare landscape? We’re seeking a Payer Enrollment Specialist to join our growing team and play a critical role in ensuring our providers are properly credentialed and enrolled with insurance payers.
This is your opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare organization where accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork make a difference every day. You will serve as a key administrative driver, bridging the gap between healthcare providers and insurance portals to ensure seamless operational flow.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Enrollment Management: Complete provider enrollments through payer portals, email, and PDF applications with 100% accuracy.

Portal Navigation: Regularly utilize and update provider profiles within payer enrollment management systems and platforms like Verifiable.

Communication & Outreach: Answer inbound calls regularly and make outbound calls to insurance companies to follow up on provider enrollment status.

Project Support: Assist in delivering and tracking small project deliverables within dedicated workstreams.

CX & Onboarding: Support customer and provider onboarding tasks to ensure a smooth transition into the network.

Data Maintenance: Use Google Sheets for precise data entry and maintain role-related SOPs and process documentation.

Platform Coordination: Manage tickets and administrative tasks within Zendesk or similar CX platforms.
What You Bring

Industry Expertise: Prior administrative experience specific to the healthcare industry (Credentialing, Payer Contracting, Licensing, or Claims Billing).

Technical Proficiency: Experience with Verifiable (or similar platforms like Medallion, Echo, Simplr, Modio) and GSuite.

Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with major insurance portals such as Aetna and UHC.

Customer Excellence: 1+ years of experience with Zendesk or a similar CX platform.

Data Skills: 2+ years of experience with Google Sheets (Basic to Intermediate skills for data entry and tracking).

Communication: Strong written English skills (Slack/Email) and a comfortable, professional phone presence for insurance follow-ups.

Availability: Ability to work U.S. Central Time (CST) hours (8 AM - 5 PM).
Bonus Points if:

You have experience with Availity, bridging gaps between healthcare and insurance providers.
- You have a "process-improvement" mindset and enjoy identifying operational bottlenecks.
- You are comfortable moving leads or providers through a structured pipeline.
Grow Into:
- Creating macros in support helpdesks to streamline repetitive processes.
- Reporting on analytics related to owned processes and identifying opportunities for high-level improvement.
Salary Range: $5.00 - $5.15/hour (Final offer based on skills and experience matched to role requirements)
