What Your Day-to-Day Will Most Likely Look Like

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you own the lifecycle journey. You will:

  • Workflow Architecture: Build and manage complex email drip campaigns and automated workflows.
  • A/B Testing: Update creative and copy within existing automations to power experiments that drive conversion.
  • Technical QA: Perform rigorous quality assurance on all campaigns and flows to ensure strategy alignment, perfect deliverability, and correct audience targeting.
  • Database Management: Maintain list organization and advanced segmentation to ensure healthy cross-pollination of subscriber lists.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitor audience KPIs (open rates, CTR, subscriber growth) and provide weekly/monthly performance analysis using Excel and reporting dashboards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within project management tools to document changes in Figma and keep stakeholders updated via Slack.


What You Bring

  • CRM Expertise: 2–3 years of advanced experience with a major Email Service Provider (ESP) is essential.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Proven experience managing the full email lifecycle from strategy to deployment.
  • Project Management: 1+ years of experience using tools like Asana, Notion, ClickUp, or Figma to manage marketing workflows.
  • Data Literacy: Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas) to analyze email health and campaign trends.
  • Communication: Proactive and reliable communication via Slack for internal and client-facing updates.

  • Step 4 Match Interview: You’ll meet with one of our Senior Leaders for a deep-dive validation to ensure we’re matching you with the right opportunity. This is your moment to bring your A-game and really shine - it’s the final step for many of our roles! 


Depending on the client, there are sometimes 2 additional steps: 

  • Step 5 15-min Prep Call: We’ve got your back. Before the final round, your Recruiter will hop on a quick call to coach you, share insider tips, and ensure you’re 100% ready.
  • Step 6 Client Interview: You’ll meet the client to discuss how you’ll help them scale and succeed. Bring your metrics and be on your A-game - this is your last chance to make a great first impression!
