The Opportunity

We're hiring a Paid Social / UGC Growth Marketing Specialist to join an early-stage DTC consumer brand scaling through TikTok Shop and Meta paid social — owning day-to-day execution across paid social and UGC operations, including launching and managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, monitoring daily performance, and building a repeatable workflow for moving high-performing TikTok creator content into paid ads. You'll partner closely with the founder; bridge TikTok Shop creator content and Meta performance marketing; organize creative assets, creator information, and testing history in a clear system; and deliver weekly reporting that frees up bandwidth for higher-level growth strategy.


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Meta Campaign Execution: Launch and manage paid social campaigns in Meta Ads Manager — campaign setup, ad uploads, copy variations, audience and ad set organization, and QA.
  • Daily Performance Monitoring: Monitor daily campaign performance across Meta and TikTok, flagging performance shifts, budget issues, creative fatigue, and optimization opportunities.
  • Paid Social Optimization: Pause underperforming ads, refresh creative, update copy, and organize tests to keep accounts performing.
  • TikTok Creator Content Sourcing: Pull learnings from TikTok Shop, TikTok Seller Center, and affiliate/creator content to identify strong hooks, angles, creators, and formats — then build a repeatable workflow for moving high-performers into Meta campaigns.
  • Creator Coordination & Asset Management: Work with TikTok Shop creators on usage permissions, whitelisting, and simple content adjustments; use Trybe to organize and confirm creator assets are approved, formatted, and ready to launch.
  • Light UGC Editing: Trim TikTok-specific mentions, remove end cards, cut clips in CapCut, and add simple text overlays to prep creator content for paid use.
  • Performance Reporting & Documentation: Build weekly and monthly reports in Google Sheets tracking spend, CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPC, CPM, hook performance, and creative-level trends; document campaign processes and testing workflows as the role scales.


What You Bring

  • Paid Social Experience: 2–3+ years of hands-on paid social, ideally with DTC, beauty, skincare, wellness, or ecommerce brands — including direct experience in Meta Ads Manager (launching ads, QAing setup, monitoring, and optimizing).
  • TikTok Ecosystem Fluency: Familiarity with TikTok Shop, TikTok Seller Center, and TikTok creator/affiliate content, plus a clear eye for identifying strong hooks, angles, and formats from UGC.
  • KPI & Reporting Skills: Strong understanding of paid social KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPM, CPC, conversion rate, creative performance) and comfort building simple reports or trackers in Google Sheets.
  • Creator Coordination: Comfortable working with creator content and managing simple back-and-forth requests with creators on permissions, edits, and partnership details.
  • Organization & Communication: Strong organizational skills for managing high volumes of creative assets and creator videos, plus clear written communication for Slack, Gmail, and creator outreach.
  • Startup Mindset: Self-starter who thrives in a lean startup environment with minimal pre-built process, comfortable taking direction from a founder and learning new workflows quickly.


Bonus Points if:

  • You've worked with Trybe or similar creator whitelisting / creator ad platforms
  • You're comfortable with CapCut or similar lightweight video editing tools
  • You've managed or repurposed TikTok Shop affiliate content for paid social
  • You've supported creator outreach, influencer operations, or affiliate workflows
  • You've built dashboards or custom reporting trackers
  • You've worked with early-stage DTC brands or founder-led marketing teams
  • You have a background in beauty, skincare, or CPG
