The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Business Development & Demand Generation Specialist to join a fast-growing AI-native B2B SaaS platform expanding its enterprise sales pipeline with franchise and private equity-backed brands — supporting a targeted, account-based outbound motion that prioritizes quality engagement over high-volume spray-and-pray. You’ll build and maintain target account lists, identify the right decision makers, enrich data, craft personalized outbound sequences across email and LinkedIn, and set qualified meetings for the leadership team; this role calls for a creative, resourceful BDR-style operator who hunts for signals and hooks rather than executing a script, and who is genuinely excited to help build a scalable outbound engine from the ground up.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Target Account & Contact Research: Build and maintain target account lists across franchise, home services, and private equity-backed brands — identifying relevant contacts including marketing, operations, growth, franchise development, and executive stakeholders, then enriching account and contact data in Apollo, HubSpot, LinkedIn, and similar tools.

Outbound Sequence Management: Create and manage outbound sequences across email and LinkedIn — researching target accounts to surface timely hooks, events, hiring signals, news, and expansion opportunities that make outreach relevant and specific to each account.

ABM Outreach Support: Support account-based outreach customized by account, persona, and opportunity — helping test new messaging, subject lines, sequences, and targeting approaches to continuously improve engagement and meeting volume.

Meeting Setting & Follow-Up: Set qualified demos and introductory meetings for the leadership team; follow up consistently after conferences, webinars, events, case study sends, and warm introductions to move conversations forward.

Pipeline Tracking & Reporting: Track outreach activity, responses, meeting outcomes, and pipeline contribution in HubSpot — keeping account data clean and providing visibility into outbound performance.

AI-Assisted Prospecting: Leverage AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, Clay, and similar platforms to improve research quality, personalization, sequence creation, and outbound volume without sacrificing the thoughtfulness the ABM motion requires.
What You Bring

Business Development Experience: 2–3+ years in business development, outbound sales, lead generation, demand generation, or sales development — with a track record of building target account lists and booking qualified meetings.

Outbound & Research Skills: Experience with outbound email and LinkedIn outreach paired with strong research instincts — able to find relevant, account-specific hooks that make engagement timely and credible rather than generic.

Tool Proficiency: Comfortable working in HubSpot and Apollo or similar CRM and sales engagement platforms; proficient using AI tools to increase outbound quality and efficiency.

Writing & Communication: Strong written English with the ability to draft clear, polished, and personalized outbound messaging that opens doors rather than burning them.

Ownership & Proactivity: High ownership mindset, strong work ethic, and proactive follow-through — comfortable with ambiguity, self-directed, and available to work US business hours.
Bonus Points if:
- You have experience with ABM, enterprise sales, franchise brands, home services, or B2B SaaS.
- You have experience booking demos with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- You have experience supporting conference or event follow-up motions.
- You have familiarity with Clay, Instantly, Smartlead, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools.
- You have cold calling experience, especially into business or marketing contacts.
- You have experience working directly with founders, GTM leaders, or small startup teams.
