Who We Are
GrowthAssistant connects top marketing and operations talent with fast-growing companies that depend on great execution to scale. Founded in 2021 and named by Forbes as one of the best startups to work at, we're a permanently remote team that runs on integrity, proactive candor, and a bias toward action — and we prioritize the human experience in everything we do. We hire for skill and for heart, and we invest in our people for the long haul.
The Opportunity
Are you a systems thinker who loves building clean, scalable processes? Join GrowthAssistant as a HubSpot CRM Specialist, where you’ll support a fast-growing U.S. financial technology company that helps small businesses streamline their operations. You’ll play a major role in shaping their CRM ecosystem — ensuring clean data, smooth automation, and accurate reporting that drive business decisions.
In this role, you’ll be the backbone of their CRM infrastructure, owning HubSpot end-to-end. You’ll build workflows, optimize pipelines, improve data accuracy, troubleshoot integrations, and create dashboards that give Sales, Marketing, and Finance full visibility. If you enjoy combining technical configuration with process improvement, this role is the perfect blend of technical strategy and execution.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
-
Primary System Ownership: Act as the primary owner of HubSpot CRM—structure, configuration, architecture, and daily system management.
-
Data Integrity: Improve CRM performance by maintaining data integrity, cleaning records, optimizing properties, and conducting regular QA checks.
-
Process Architecture: Design and refine pipelines, lead scoring, ticketing systems, custom properties, and lifecycle logic.
-
Automation: Build, optimize, and troubleshoot automations and workflows that support Sales, Marketing, and Finance processes.
-
Integration Management: Manage integrations with tools like Zapier, QuickBooks, Fathom, OpenPhone, RevenueHero, and internal systems.
-
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor sync errors, system bugs, and integration performance to ensure seamless operations.
-
Reporting & Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards for leadership, including funnel metrics, attribution, deal velocity, and revenue tracking.
-
Reconciliation: Perform data reconciliations between HubSpot and financial systems to ensure accuracy.
-
Data Operations: Handle data imports, exports, migrations, and maintain documentation across all system processes.
-
Enablement: Train internal teams on CRM workflows and maintain an internal knowledge base.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of CRM experience, including 3+ years hands-on with HubSpot.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in CRM architecture, automation design, and integrations.
- Data Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, macros).
- Integration Skills: Experience managing multi-system integrations (Zapier, APIs, finance tools, etc.).
- Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of sales and marketing automation, customer lifecycle workflows, and operational data.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; detail-oriented with excellent documentation habits.
- Availability: Comfortable working CST hours and collaborating with remote teams.
Bonus Points if:
- You hold HubSpot Certifications (Marketing, Sales, Ops, CRM Implementation).
- You have experience integrating HubSpot with QuickBooks or financial platforms.
- You possess SQL, BI tools, or advanced reporting experience.
