The Opportunity

We're hiring a Social Media Content Manager (Instagram) to join one of the largest creator-led parenting brands on Instagram — a top-followed account with over 3 million followers spanning Instagram, Facebook, podcast, and Substack — where you'll own the day-to-day execution of high-performing daily content across the full social ecosystem. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role working directly alongside the founders to transform existing ideas, video assets, podcast clips, testimonials, and trending moments into scroll-stopping Reels, carousels, Stories, and captions; it's ideal for someone who loves internet culture, understands what makes content perform, thrives in a feedback-heavy collaborative environment, and gets genuinely excited about creating social content every single day. This is not a passive scheduling role — it requires creative instinct, speed, deep organization, and the drive to bring ideas to life without being told every detail.


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Content Scheduling & Publishing: Coordinate, schedule, and publish daily content across Instagram feed, Reels, Stories, highlights, and Facebook — owning tasks from draft through publishing readiness including assets, links, captions, revisions, and approvals inside Asana
  • Content Creation & Editing: Build and assemble Reels using InShot (video, text, music, pacing, hooks); design carousel-style content in Canva; create engaging daily Stories using video, text, links, polls, Q&As, and interactive elements
  • Writing & Voice: Write short-form captions, hooks, slide copy, and Story text that consistently execute the founder's voice and brand tone across every piece of content
  • Content Repurposing & Ideation: Turn existing content — podcasts, Substacks, transcripts, testimonials, and older posts — into fresh high-performing assets; ideate memes, trend-based content, holiday content, and reactive social-native moments
  • Community & Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments on posts, Reels, ads, and Facebook content to maintain active audience engagement
  • Operations & Link Management: Manage sponsored content details and publishing coordination; update and maintain ShopMy, Linktree, Amazon, and campaign links; maintain highlights, content organization, and posting systems
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track performance analytics and compile weekly and monthly reports; collaborate closely with founders and writers to move content from draft to final execution


What You Bring

  • Social Media Experience: 3+ years managing social media accounts, creator brands, or digital content — with deep understanding of Instagram best practices for Stories, Reels, captions, engagement, and shareable content
  • Creative Instincts & Writing Skills: Strong instincts for hooks, readability, pacing, and social-first storytelling; excellent short-form writing and editing skills with a genuine feel for internet culture and what makes content perform
  • Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using InShot, Canva, and mobile-first editing tools; ability to use AI tools thoughtfully to support faster content creation and iteration; experience managing workflows in Asana or similar platforms
  • Organization & Reliability: Extremely organized and independently able to manage tasks, deadlines, revisions, and publishing workflows without needing step-by-step direction; available during business hours (9am–6pm ET)
  • Collaborative Adaptability: Comfortable receiving direct feedback and executing multiple rounds of revisions quickly; proactive, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving creator environment — thriving through feedback via Asana, text, voice notes, and collaborative review rounds
