Who We Are
GrowthAssistant connects top marketing and operations talent with fast-growing companies that depend on great execution to scale. Founded in 2021 and named by Forbes as one of the best startups to work at, we're a permanently remote team that runs on integrity, proactive candor, and a bias toward action — and we prioritize the human experience in everything we do. We hire for skill and for heart, and we invest in our people for the long haul.
The Opportunity
We're hiring an Ecommerce Graphic Designer to own the day-to-day creative output for an established DTC apparel brand that runs on a seasonal collection calendar — designing three to four broadcast email campaigns a week alongside homepage banners, landing page assets, paid social creative, and the product imagery that carries a launch across every channel. This is a high-volume, multi-channel role with real creative ownership: you'll work directly with company leadership and the brand's creative lead, moving between templated briefs for recurring campaigns and looser, more conversational direction for new initiatives, and you'll be expected to bring ideas, references, and a clear point of view rather than waiting for prescriptive instruction.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
-
Email & Retention Creative: Design assets for approximately three to four broadcast email campaigns each week plus supporting visuals for SMS and other retention initiatives, adapting designs across campaign themes, promotions, launches, and seasonal collections while keeping recurring lifecycle formats consistent.
-
Ecommerce & Web Design: Create homepage banners, landing page assets, promotional graphics, and other website creative; prepare product imagery for ecommerce product pages; and resize and adapt creative for different web placements and device formats.
-
Paid Advertising Support: Design static assets for paid social, display, and other digital advertising campaigns, developing multiple variations while maintaining brand consistency and folding feedback and performance learnings into future iterations.
-
Photo & Asset Production: Prepare photographer-edited images for website, product page, email, and advertising use; complete light editing, cropping, resizing, and retouching; and keep creative files organized across shared drives and internal asset libraries as new seasonal photography arrives.
-
Light Video Editing: Edit short-form promotional and ecommerce video when needed — basic cuts, transitions, resizing, text overlays, and platform-specific exports — repurposing existing footage into simple digital marketing assets.
-
Creative Collaboration: Work directly with company leadership and the brand's creative lead to develop campaign concepts and execute creative direction, participating actively in feedback, revisions, and creative discussions.
-
Project Management: Manage assigned projects and deadlines through the team's project-tracking tool, working from templated creative briefs for recurring campaigns and from more conversational direction for new initiatives.
-
Print & Offline Support: Support occasional print, direct mail, and offline marketing projects alongside the core digital workload.
What You Bring
-
Portfolio & Design Range: A strong portfolio demonstrating digital marketing, ecommerce, email, and advertising design, backed by strong typography, layout, composition, and image-selection skills.
-
Tooling: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign — plus strong working knowledge of Figma and the ability to create and manage assets within collaborative design files.
-
Brand Systems Discipline: Experience designing within established brand guidelines and visual systems, and preparing and optimizing assets for web, email, advertising, and ecommerce use.
-
Volume & Accuracy: Ability to manage a consistent volume of creative work across multiple channels with strong attention to detail, holding accuracy across sizes, formats, and campaign variations.
-
Collaboration & Communication: Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating directly with a small, highly involved team; a friendly, energetic working style; and the ability to receive feedback constructively while contributing an informed creative perspective.
-
Remote Self-Management: Strong organization and time-management skills in a remote working environment.
Bonus Points if:
- You have experience working with an apparel, fashion, accessories, consumer goods, or ecommerce brand.
- You have basic video editing experience for social, advertising, or ecommerce content.
- You have experience preparing product photography for Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform.
- You're familiar with AI-enabled design and creative production tools.
- You have experience using Trello, Google Workspace, Slack, Dropbox, and shared digital asset libraries.
- You're familiar with seasonal campaign calendars, product launches, and high-volume ecommerce creative workflows.
