The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to own the execution and quality assurance of our daily newsletter operations. This is a high-volume, high-accountability role where you will be responsible for launching 4 email campaign variants per day.


As the primary owner of the final build, you aren't just "pushing buttons"—you are the final line of defense against errors. We need someone with a deep sense of ownership who ensures every subject line is updated, every "TEST" tag is removed, and every link is functional before the "send" button is ever touched. If you thrive in process-driven environments and take immense pride in 100% accuracy across complex campaigns, this role is for you.


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Campaign Execution: Manage the daily lifecycle of 4 email campaigns (A/B testing). This includes list selection, segmentation updates, and the insertion of copy/creative into base templates.
  • The "Final Build" Ownership: Take full accountability for the final campaign state. You must ensure that all placeholder text is removed, that subject lines are up to date, and that content is accurate before going live.
  • Complex QA & Rendering: Conduct rigorous testing of all campaign links and formatting. Use Email on Acid (or similar tools) to ensure proper rendering across all devices and email clients.
  • A/B/C Testing: Perform split tests and apply proper UTM parameters based on provided conventions to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Download performance reports, classify "link types" according to an existing schema, and calculate estimated send sizes for segment look-backs.
  • Lifecycle Maintenance: Maintain clean contact lists and ensure all email automations and drip sequences are functioning without friction.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Join weekly 30-minute meetings with the editorial team to recap tests and plan upcoming campaigns; work with Sales to optimize campaigns based on client needs.


What You Bring

  • Extreme Organization: You possess a process-driven mindset and can manage the high-volume requirement of 4 daily campaign variants without losing quality.
  • Ownership & Accountability: You take personal responsibility for the accuracy of the send. You are "conscious of the build" and dedicated to eliminating QA mistakes, such as incorrect subject lines.
  • Technical CRM Experience: Hands-on experience managing email campaigns inside a CRM or ESP (Email Service Provider).
  • QA Rigor: Strong attention to detail when testing links, reviewing formatting, and confirming rendering accuracy.
  • Data Fluency: Ability to follow setup conventions (UTMs, sub-segment naming) and download/interpret performance reports.
  • Communication: Clear, proactive communication about campaign readiness and potential issues.


Bonus Points if:

  • You have hands-on experience with Blueshift or Mailchimp.
  • You have basic HTML knowledge for troubleshooting rendering issues or custom tables.
  • You have experience in SMS marketing or lead-nurture funnels.
  • You are familiar with process mapping and documentation.


Salary Range: $5.00 - $6.50/hour (Final offer based on skills and experience matched to role requirements)
