Who We Are

GrowthAssistant connects top marketing and operations talent with fast-growing companies that depend on great execution to scale. Founded in 2021 and named by Forbes as one of the best startups to work at, we’re a permanently remote team that runs on integrity, proactive candor, and a bias toward action — and we prioritize the human experience in everything we do. We hire for skill and for heart, and we invest in our people for the long haul.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Braze Specialist to build and ship the lifecycle campaigns that reach patients for a direct-to-consumer telehealth provider delivering primary care across the US. This is a hands-on build role, not a strategy seat — you’ll take approved copy and designs and turn them into clean, well-architected campaigns and Canvases across email, SMS, push, and in-app, with the segmentation, entry criteria, exclusion rules, and frequency capping set up properly the first time. Personalization logic, dynamic content rules, UTMs, and event tracking are all yours, as is the end-to-end QA that catches a broken link or a bad audience rule before a patient ever sees it. You’ll run A/B tests with proper variant control, report on performance weekly, audit existing campaigns for gaps and redundancies, and document every launch with release notes clear enough that the next person can pick it up — all inside a regulated environment where privacy and compliance standards like HIPAA are non-negotiable. A strong fit if you take pride in builds that launch on time and defect-free.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Campaign Build & Launch: Build, configure, and launch CRM campaigns and Canvases across email, SMS, push, and in-app.
  • Segmentation & Journey Logic: Set up segmentation, entry criteria, exclusion rules, and frequency capping following established naming conventions and clean campaign architecture, and support lifecycle programs such as onboarding flows, re-engagement campaigns, and health-education journeys.
  • Personalization: Implement dynamic personalization and conditional logic (Liquid) from provided copy and designs, and build and manage dynamic content rules that deliver relevant, tailored experiences.
  • Tracking & QA: Ensure UTMs and event logging are correctly implemented on every send, and run thorough end-to-end QA before every launch — rendering, links, personalization, and audience logic.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Set up and configure A/B tests and experiments with proper variant control, and troubleshoot cross-channel rendering and delivery issues.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient data within the CRM platform and segment audiences based on lifecycle stage, behavior, and preferences.
  • Reporting & Optimization: Produce weekly campaign performance reports (open rate, CTR, conversions), monitor post-launch performance and flag anomalies proactively, and audit existing campaigns and Canvases to identify gaps, redundancies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Write clear release notes and change logs for every launch, collaborate closely with the CRM Manager, partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams, and ensure every campaign adheres to privacy and compliance standards such as HIPAA.

What You Bring

  • CRM Operations Experience: 2–3 years in CRM, marketing operations, or customer engagement for a direct-to-consumer brand, with a college diploma or university degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Multi-Channel Campaign Craft: Hands-on experience building campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app, including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and performance analysis, with demonstrated impact through lifecycle campaigns.
  • Platform Foundations: Foundational understanding of CRM platforms such as Braze, Amplitude, or Looker (hands-on experience a strong plus), plus familiarity with email marketing best practices and customer lifecycle strategies.
  • QA Discipline: Rigorous QA discipline and strong attention to detail, and the organization to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
  • Data-Informed Thinking: A strategic, proactive, solution-oriented mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to translate insights into action through data-informed decision making.
  • Communication: Great communication and collaboration skills, excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading, and a patient-obsessed mindset focused on continuously improving the patient experience.

Bonus Points if:

  • Hands-on experience with Braze — Canvases, Liquid, content blocks, segmentation
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template builds and Liquid for personalization logic
  • Experience with Looker dashboards or Amplitude charts
  • Experience executing multi-channel CRM strategies (email, SMS, push, in-app)
  • Comfortable working from a structured ticket backlog (Kanban/Scrum) with reliable delivery estimates
  • Familiarity with Notion, Jira, or Asana for documentation and campaign workflows
  • Experience with Figma
  • Practical use of AI tools to accelerate QA, documentation, or build work
  • Comfortable operating in a regulated environment
  • Experience in healthcare
