The Opportunity
We are looking for a vigilant and technical SQL Data Analyst/On-Call Support to ensure our marketing promotions and systems remain operational 24/7. This role is the "first line of defense" for our promotional ecosystem, combining technical SQL skills with rapid incident response.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high-stakes environment where quick diagnosis and cross-functional coordination are key. You will be responsible for monitoring dashboards, root-causing technical glitches in our CRM tools (like Braze or Salesforce), and documenting incidents to prevent future occurrences. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys technical troubleshooting and maintaining high-availability systems, we want you on our team.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Incident Response: Act as the primary responder for promotion-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and addressing technical blockers outside of regular working hours.

Proactive Monitoring: Continuously monitor dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Chronosphere) and system alerts to identify potential anomalies before they impact the customer.

Troubleshooting & Mitigation: Quickly diagnose promo issues, perform preliminary measures to reduce impact, and work with Campaign DRIs to resolve the root cause.

CRM Operations: Utilize intermediate knowledge of tools like Braze, Iterable, and Salesforce to investigate data flows and campaign triggers.

Strategic Escalation: Identify risks and escalate critical issues to Marketing Leadership or specialized technical teams when higher-level intervention is required.

Detailed Documentation: Maintain accurate incident logs, document frequent customer experience gaps, and create protocols to detect and fix recurring issues faster.
What You Bring

Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate SQL proficiency (joins, filtering, data selection) and experience modifying business dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, etc.).

CRM Expertise: Intermediate experience working within marketing and sales technology stacks, specifically Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce.

Analytical Problem Solving: Proven ability to work with cross-functional (XFN) partners to identify, root-cause, and mitigate complex technical issues.

Operational Discipline: Experience documenting incidents and a passion for creating "playbooks" or protocols that improve system reliability.

Availability: Comfort with a schedule that includes on-call responsibilities to support a global, 24/7 promotional cycle.

Communication: Strong ability to relay technical risks to non-technical leadership clearly and concisely.
Bonus Points if:
- You have experience building custom dashboards or automated alerts to proactively identify data anomalies.
- You have a track record of creating comprehensive tracking systems for incident mitigation.
- You have worked in a high-growth E-commerce or Marketplace environment.
