The Opportunity

We're hiring a Shopify Operations Assistant to support a growing eCommerce operation managing high-volume order workflows on Shopify through an active platform migration. You'll review roughly 300 orders a day to verify fulfillment, cross-reference against source data to flag discrepancies, and QA website functionality after developer fixes. It's a detail-first role where accuracy is paramount — with room to grow into broader order operations and QA workflows as the migration progresses and scope expands.


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Order Verification: Review roughly 300 Shopify orders daily to verify fulfillment status, cross-referencing each against a provided source sheet.
  • Discrepancy Flagging: Flag unfulfilled or discrepant orders to the internal team, then log and communicate each one clearly within the team's ticketing/project management system.
  • Website QA: QA website functionality after developer fixes by following step-by-step ticket instructions to confirm issues are resolved on the front end, using client-provided training and SOPs.
  • Room to Grow: As the Shopify migration progresses, take on expanded order operations, additional QA workflows and data entry, and light direct interaction with the end client on order-related clarifications.


What You Bring

  • Shopify Experience: 1+ years interacting with Shopify's backend in any capacity (order ops, CX, fulfillment support, or direct admin work).
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with an accuracy-first mindset and strong validation skills suited to high-volume daily QA work.
  • Independent Execution: Comfortable executing SOPs and step-by-step instructions independently with minimal oversight.
  • Availability: Available 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.


Bonus Points if:

  • General technical aptitude for working with non-Shopify systems and integrations / APIs
  • Prior experience in eCommerce order operations, fulfillment QA, or replatforming support
  • Familiarity with project management or ticketing tools
