The Opportunity

We're hiring a Static Design Specialist to lead deck creation and presentation design for a fast-growing media and marketing company that produces a steady stream of client-facing and internal materials — sales decks, pitch decks, proposals, strategy readouts, and executive presentations. You'll translate rough content, outlines, and existing materials into clear, compelling, visually polished decks that communicate ideas effectively, partnering closely with strategists, sales, and account teams; over time, you'll have room to grow into building reusable slide libraries and deck systems, developing visual storytelling frameworks, and helping shape presentation standards across the organization.


What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Deck Design: Design and build client-facing decks — sales, pitch, strategy, reporting, and proposal presentations — from the ground up.
  • Visual Polish: Enhance existing decks and documents through layout refinement, clearer hierarchy, consistency, and overall polish.
  • Content Translation: Turn written content, outlines, or rough slides into clear, well-structured, visually compelling presentations.
  • Data Visualization: Create infographics, charts, timelines, frameworks, and diagrams that make complex ideas easy to grasp.
  • Templates & Brand Systems: Maintain and apply deck templates, slide systems, and brand guidelines for consistency across materials.
  • Motion & Animation: Apply light animation or motion where appropriate — builds, transitions, and emphasis — to elevate presentations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with strategists, sales, and account teams to support their presentation needs and iterate quickly on feedback.


What You Bring

  • Design Experience: 3+ years of design experience across the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), with Figma or Google Slides a plus.
  • Presentation & Layout Design: Strong presentation and layout skills with a clear eye for hierarchy, spacing, and visual storytelling.
  • Deck Portfolio: Proven experience designing decks, slides, and long-form presentation documents.
  • Design Versatility: A flexible design sensibility that adapts to different brands, audiences, and presentation contexts.
  • Motion & Illustration: Basic-to-intermediate motion/animation skills (transitions, simple builds, light motion graphics) plus basic vector illustration for icons, diagrams, and simple infographics.
  • Reliability & Communication: Highly responsive and detail-oriented, with proactive communication, strong file and version management, and the ability to context-switch across multiple decks and stakeholders.


Bonus Points if:

  • Experience working in Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Figma for presentation design
  • Familiarity with executive or sales storytelling frameworks
  • Light video or motion experience (animated slides, exported presentation clips)
  • Experience designing supporting materials like 1-sheets, executive summaries, or proposal docs
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools or internal presentation systems

Depending on the client, there are sometimes 2 additional steps:

  • Step 5 15-min Prep Call: We've got your back. Before the final round, your Recruiter will hop on a quick call to coach you, share insider tips, and ensure you're 100% ready.
