The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-caliber Lead Marketing Data Analyst to serve as a "Player/Coach" for our growing data operations. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the initial "V0" buildout of marketing reporting infrastructure, centralizing data from multiple sources into a single, unified view.
You will act as the crucial bridge between marketing leadership and technical execution—taking high-level, ambiguous briefs and translating them into actionable workflows for your team. If you are an expert in SQL and marketing KPIs (CAC, LTV, Attribution) who thrives on both hands-on technical execution, pioneering AI-driven automations, and team mentorship, this is the role for you.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Foundational Reporting: Own the design and initial buildout of global marketing reporting infrastructure, centralizing data from Snowflake and Google Sheets to track planned vs. actual spend, promo efficiency, and core metrics.

BI Development: Design, build, and maintain centralized dashboards to track critical marketing KPIs. While Looker is our current standard, you are highly encouraged to leverage and experiment with new AI tools to build these dashboards faster and more efficiently.

Data Modeling: Write and optimize complex SQL queries in Snowflake to aggregate, transform, and structure large-scale datasets into usable marketing models.

Leverage Automation: Act scrapily by utilizing AI tools and automations to scale reporting, specifically avoiding building reports manually from scratch.

Team Management: Support and lead a team of junior GrowthAssistants by breaking down technical solutions into smaller pieces, assigning work, holding them accountable, and stepping in to resolve technical blockers.

QA & Governance: Serve as the primary QA owner and escalation point, maintaining high data standards, validating accuracy, and conducting anomaly detection across the team's entire output.

Strategic Partnership: Act as the central analytics partner for Regional Marketing Directors ("mini CMOs"), partnering with them to interpret trends and support strategic decision-making.

Operational Excellence: Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documentation, and onboarding frameworks to help scale the reporting capabilities as the team expands.
What You Bring

Experience: 4+ years in marketing analytics, BI, or data analysis, ideally within a fast-moving startup or global environment.

Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in SQL (Snowflake preferred) and strong experience building centralized reports and dashboards.

Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of marketing data, including attribution models, channel performance, and unit economics (CAC, LTV).

AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience, curiosity, and an eagerness to use AI tools for automation and efficiency, including a willingness to bypass traditional BI tools in favor of AI-driven solutions.

Analytical Rigor & QA: A strong QA mindset with a proven ability to structure ambiguous business problems into clear, reliable analytical frameworks.

Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring or managing junior analysts, with the ability to balance individual contribution with team oversight and workflow prioritization.

Ownership Mentality: Highly proactive, comfortable operating autonomously, and able to execute with minimal oversight (looping in management only for major blockers).
Bonus Points if:
- You have experience in marketplace, delivery, or app-based businesses (e.g., DoorDash, FoodPanda, Uber, etc.).
- You are familiar with CRM and retention data (email, push, and lifecycle marketing).
- You have a background in Python or advanced data science tooling.
- You have experience working with distributed, global teams.
